Easy to get started

Just started using BYDFi for some spot trading, mainly Bitcoin and Ethereum. It was super easy to sign up and get going. I even messed around with the demo trading a bit, which was cool to learn with. Didn't have any trouble finding my way around. I even tried out the copy trading feature for a bit and it seems pretty decent. No complaints so far, it just works.

Good features, some withdrawal quirks

I used BYDFi for some perpetual futures trading and found the platform pretty intuitive. The fees were competitive, which is a big plus, and I liked the range of altcoin trading pairs available. Setting up my account and making a crypto deposit was straightforward enough. I tried out the mobile trading app, and it worked well for checking positions on the go. My main gripe was with the crypto withdrawal process; it felt a bit slower than I expected. It took almost a full day to get my funds, which isn't terrible, but could be faster. Overall, it's a solid exchange, especially for futures, but they could fine-tune the withdrawal speed.

Decent trading platform

Used BYDFi for USDT-M futures. Interface was clean, execution felt fast. Fees were low. Crypto deposit was quick. Withdrawals were a bit slow for me. Good for trading, but expect some wait for withdrawals.

I heard about some mystery boxes for new users. Are those actually worth it or just a gimmick?

P Priya B. 1 month ago
They're not like, life-changing money, but you can get some small bonuses or trial funds. It's a nice little extra on top of other sign-up rewards.

Got a small futures bonus from one once. It's free stuff, so why not? Don't expect to get rich though.

How does BYDFi compare to like, KuCoin or Bybit? Is it generally considered less legitimate or something?

M Mike 1 month ago
It's legit. Not as huge as Binance maybe, but it's been around and offers similar stuff like futures and copy trading. I'd say it's on par with places like MEXC or Gate.io.

I've used both BYDFi and Bybit. BYDFi's fees felt a bit lower on some pairs, and the copy trading interface was pretty intuitive. Just depends on what you're looking for.

Thinking of signing up for BYDFi, saw something about a welcome bonus. How does that actually work, can I just cash it out?

K Kate 1 month ago
Nah, you can't just withdraw the bonus itself. It's usually a futures bonus or something similar that you can trade with, and then you can withdraw any profits you make from using it.

They have a bunch of different new user rewards, like mystery boxes and stuff. You gotta check the tasks they want you to do. It's not free money to just pull out, more like extra trading capital.

Thinking about transferring some USDT over. What are the typical fees for withdrawing crypto from BYDFi?

T Tara Whitfield 1 month ago
Withdrawal fees vary depending on the crypto and the network. Always check the specific coin you're trying to move in their withdrawal section before you send anything.

They're usually pretty competitive, not ridiculously high like some other places. But yeah, it's not a flat fee for everything.

Does BYDFi even allow users from the US? Some exchanges are super strict about that.

A Amber 1 month ago
Afaik, no. Most of these exchanges have pretty tight restrictions for US folks due to regulations. You might need a VPN or something, but that's always a risk.

I've heard it's a no-go for US customers. You're probably better off looking for a different platform if you're in the states.

Hey, I'm new to crypto trading and thinking about using BYDFi. Is it a good place to start, like for someone who's just learning the ropes?

C Chris V. 4 weeks ago
Yeah, it's pretty decent for beginners. They have demo trading which is super helpful to get a feel for things without risking real money.

I started there too. The copy trading feature is cool if you want to see what experienced traders are doing, but always do your own research first.

What's the deal with KYC on BYDFi? Do I need to do it right away or can I trade a bit first?

M Marcus 1 month ago
You can usually do some basic stuff like depositing and trading without full KYC, but withdrawals often require it. It's pretty standard for most crypto platforms now.

I think for bigger amounts or certain features you'll eventually need to verify, but you don't have to do it just to sign up and poke around.
